3x-4x strength weedless treble hooks
#1
I need some extra strength weedless treble hooks for peacock bass fishing in florida. I prefer long shank but any super duty weedless treble will do. I already tried the Matzuo and the eagle claw and they were not strong enough. The Matzuo looked like it had been through the garbage disposal after one fish. I really need some high quality, high strength hooks. Also, if anyone can tell me how to create a weedless treble myself (I already tried and failed) it would be greatly appreciated.

[cool][#0000ff]Barlows Tackle in Texas carries some 4X trebles. You might wanna take a look at the GAMAKATSU TREBLES at this link. They are advertised as perfect for peacocks. They are not weedless, however. If that is a major problem, consider going to some big tough Owner single hooks. I know guys that use the singles and do not feel like they miss that many strikes. Easier to rig a single weedless too.[/#0000ff]
