[cool][#0000ff]Looks artsy and functional too. Nice work.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]My only observation is that you will probably have to adjust the angle on the tubes. If they are positioned to ride straight up before you sit down inside the tube and launch, they will rotate inward after you launch...making them come back over your head and interfering with casting and fishing.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]You want them to ride slightly outward until you launch. You will see.[/#0000ff]

They are just slightly pointing out. Does it really make a difference when you are in the water? The inflatable seat keeps everything rigid.
I still want to add more, but not sure what.

[cool][#0000ff]Slightly pointed out may be okay. The variables are how tight you have the seats aired up and how heavy you are. Soft seat and heavy body can rotate the rods inward a bit.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]You might want to think about adding a net/tool holder on the other side...like I just posted. It really is handy having your pliers and other tools handy rather than having to dig for them in a pocket...or remembering where you left them last time.[/#0000ff]

There are 5 ropes coming off of the holder to attach it to the tube. I'm a light weight at 160. I just need to figure out how to fit a cooler and a PFD in it now. I can't stand to just wear the thing. There just isn't much space after I put that big neoprene life jacket back there. I need to figure something out.

I just drag mine off the side within reach. I use a velcro loop so all I have to do is pull on it.

Cool, do you notice that it slows you down much?

[cool][#0000ff]I don't know any tubers that actually wear their PFD while on the water. But, the laws of most states are that you have to have one. I have a fairly compact Stearns PFD that I roll tightly and secure with a bungee cord. It rides in the area behind the seat without taking too much space.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]If you look around, you can find some "soft side" coolers that will hold a couple of drinks and some ice. These are ideal for tubers. Just remember...what goes in must come out. Better to sacrifice the convenience of easily available drinks for the inconvenience of extra "downloads". Only during the hottest summer days, when dehydration is a REAL concern, do I even take water or other "refreshments" out on the water with me.[/#0000ff]

No I don't notice any drag. It actually floats and as Tube dude said it ends up riding right next to the tube. On the H3, I did the same as TD and just stick it in the pocket behind the seat. Adds a little more stability to the backrest also.
I use an old Ski (zip up the front) Vest.

I'll second what TubeDude said.
I've rollled my PFD as small as I can get it, and then I use a small soft sided cooler to hold a drink, sandwich, and other snacks. I also carry a small dry sack that I can stuff a jacket in when I no longer need it; or in the cooler months it holds my winter hat, gloves, etc.
I also noticed this the other day on Cabelas site.

To me it seems a little too big, and it looks like it might only fit in a Super Fat Cat.

[cool][#0000ff]That is a jazzy looking add-on. But, when I go fishing, I go fishing. I am not out there for a gourmet dining and drinking experience. I may take a light snack and one drinkable, but no need for all that weight and bulk.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Plenty of time for non-fishing activities later (eating and drinking). However, if you are with a group, and you are "designated supplier", something like that would be nice.[/#0000ff]

Yeah, that's what I thought. A little on the big side, and doesn't leave much room for anything else (ie PFD).

I would have LOVED one of those back in the days I had a SFC. I could have taken my BAXTER or ELVIS with me[cool]
Instead I ended up buying a bigger tube [ ]

[black]You BETCHA! (Did I drool much when you said that, I think I blacked out for a minute, he, he)[/black]
[black] [/black]
[black]Now, If I still had my SFC, I think I would follow much of what TD has put out there.[/black]
[black]My seat was never a problem so I am okay with that, rod holders, I use fly rods (LONG) so I would generally lay one out the back with the reel by my side. Vests, I use one of these (from the water skiing days)[/black]
[black] [/black]
[black] [inline "Life Jacket.jpg"][/black]
[black] [/black]
[black]I used a velcro strip so I could pull it off quick and easy and I left it unclipped so I could put it on in a hurry (still do) I then attached the velcro loop to the back loop on the SFC. The vest will either float to the side or under the tube. Like I said, my brother sprung a leak and he was scrambling, I know the tubes have several chambers, but fear still creeps in and thus....PANIC![/black]
[black] [/black]
[black]I am with TD in that I come ashore to eat and minimize fluid while on the water, but I am still toying the idea of this guy.....[/black]

[black]I would let this ice chest float with a rope attached, it wouldn't be on the tube, that is why I like the shape of this guy LOL[/black]
