Late start today, arrived at 8:10 to find a crisp four degrees. No wind. Started fishing at 8:30 in 10 ft of water half way to the island. Caught two in an hour. Packed up and moved further out to 11 ft of water. Started marking and catching fish. Used white jighead tipped with crawler. Lots of good fight in the fish today. Had one come right up out of the hole like a rocket. Almost landed in the sled. Lots of rainbows, 2-3 cutts, no tigers. Bite slowed to almost nothing after 10:00. Left the ice at 11:00. Caught nineteen. Great weather and lots of fun.

Talked to two guys fishing near the shore. They were doing real good. They had quite a few fish on the ice including four real colorful tigers that all went over 18 inches.

Twenty-four degrees when I left. Ice hasn't deteriorated at all. It is in better shape than it was two weeks ago. I didn't break through the crust going on or coming off. Now I can't wait for next week. Might have to miss a day of work, that ice won't last forever!

Hey chester... Spring break for me this coming week. Tuesday or Thursday would be perfect if your serious about missing a day of work. Give me a call and lets see if we can make something happen.
