[sly] Wife and I headed up to EC getting there about 4:30 p.m. Wife caught 5 bows and I caught 2 trolling. All were 13 to 16". Little bit of wind that came and went. Wife stuck with silver and brass pop-gear trailing a worm on lead core and I switched around from mepps black with yellow spots (0), to pink triple teazer with a bit of worm (2) 50' out behind my downrigger. At about 7:00 p.m. bite went off but was just fun to putt around and talking until about 8:15. While loading talked to another couple that was out there about the same amount of time we were and they had also caught 7 bows using small rapalas with a sinker in front.
Beautiful evening. Took a couple of pics but really not worth loading up off the camera phone for the sizes. All quickly released to grow for another day.
