Scofield
#1
Fished Scofield yesterday morning....
In the water at 7:00am in my float tube....fished the SE corner of the reservoir.....
Wind....wasn't any....[Smile].....Now that may be a bad thing as I had 5 shore fishermen that I could watch, one man in pontoon and three anchored in a small boat, and the fishing was quite slow...
People came and went as the morning passed. I saw two fish caught on worms from shore early. One fish caught by the three men in the boat. I had four strikes, hooked three and landed two....one rainbow 16" and one tiger trout..18"
I had tied up some flies to represent the red sided shiners....they didn't work[unimpressed]....they are the top two flies shown....one non used, one used. All strikes/fish came on the bottom wooly bugger.
Water is much higher than ten days ago...not much shoreline left....they are holding water back at this time and lake is filling. Water clarity was better, but still off being clear...can see about three to four feet down.
picture of flies are attached.
