Wipers and bugs at Williard 6-15
#1
Arrived at about 0900 and headed out to West dike. Knew that it was going to be fun when I let the halographic rat-l-trap out and had a bigun rip it off when it got up to the boat. Tied on a chrome and blue one and had the 18 incher in the boat within about another fifteen minutes.

Oh, then the swarms of bugs check out the bugs on shirt photo.

New rule learned pretty fast, don't breathe through the mouth. Funny, I put insect repellant on and it attracted even more. Note to self, don't buy anymore repellent from bargain bin.

Anyhow, got several more hits and finally got the 15 incher in the boat.

Put them all back to grow up for another day.

Yep thats willard alright! It was really bad in the middle of the lake all the way to the west dike! The east shoreline wasn't as bad for some reason.it was nice to get away from them though.
We got 13 wipers and a 19 inch walleye, only one keeper wiper though.[frown]
