Still a Muskie virgin......
#1
Got to PV about 7 am, started off trolling along the south bank up to Anderson Cove (I think) and caught nada. Then headed across the lake and fished some little coves throwing Rapala's into the willows again nada. Trolled over to and around Cemetary Point, pulled into some coves on the north side of the point and again threw Rapala's and spoons into the willows, nada. Trolled over to the west side of the lake and up the middle arm, nada. Went back to Anderson Cove and threw a rapala on the north side again and had one good follow out of the willows and to the boat but no hookup.

Try, try again that's my motto. Still lots of fun being out in the beautiful weather on a pretty lake. And at least I had a follow which get the heart pounding. I will head back up there again soon.

Good try, can't catch em if you don't try. Better than work.

Today was a horriable day for musky's I didn't even see one and that's unheard for that lake. We fished for like two hours just for musky's and didn't catch any either and that's my first musky skunk of the year[crazy].

[font "Comic Sans MS"][size 2][#002850]I wonder if the ultra high water levels of Pineview right now are a contributer to our low musky catch rate. I got skunked too (a couple days ago)!

More water, more places too hide in the brush that has grown at low water levels.
