PHOENIX - Arizona's new Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Ambas
or Program is actively seeking volunteers! OHV Ambasors are trained volunteers that help enhance OHV riding opportunities by working cooperatively with Arizona resource agencies to:
* Monitor and maintain motorized areas, roads, trails and facilities
* Provide a recognizable presence on public and state lands<br />
* Model responsible riding and use behavior<br />
* Conduct special projects (e.g., fence repair, sign installation)<br />
* Provide educational and informative materials to the public at OHV staging areas and special events<br />
* Project a positive image about responsible OHV use and recreation
The current OHV Ambasor sites are in Maricopa County and portions of Pinal and Yavapai Counties.
