Spider Bull is dead!! This time for REAL!
#1
It's official. Spidey has fallen to Mr. Aulstead's muzzleloader on his 2ND chance at him. The first time he missed him at 190 yds and unbelievably he got a second chance recently and connected.
Spidey has been chased since the first of august and eluded hundreds of people, trail cams, and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Goes to show you how hard these animals can be to find and hunt. He has been green scored(gross) at 498"!!! He should net around 450" to 460". Kind of Sad to see him killed, but it was only a matter of time. Hopefully he got enough cows in the sac to make more little spidey bulls for me to hunt when i finally draw the tag.[cool]

I would of guessed higher than 450-460 but no matter what that is a huge bull Denny aulstead already has so many trophy's under his belt it would of been nice for that 18 year old kid that had that tag to get him here is some video on him

It is to bad someone that has no trophy animals could have taken him, this guy has to much money if he can afford to take more than one,the state should offer these tags to everyday hunters not some rich undeserving guy.the governors tag, give me a break.that tag should be given away in a draw not to the highest bidder, are hard earned money at work?

Wouldn't it have been ironic, if after all this publicity and hype, if he actually made it through the season! Sure will be nice to read/hear the real story of the hunt. Did this guy have Moss guide him?

I disagree, I have a 6" Pronghorn on my wall. Yep, a 6" speedgoat mounted on my wall. It's a trophy in my mind. Shot it in SD when I was 14. Hit it running at 200 yards+ with a .257 Roberts I borrowed from my uncle.

It's not the size of the rack that matters. Its the size of the matter that racks. When I rank and file all the things I've shot over the years that stupid little speedgoat will always be first. Cost me 6 months of delivering newspapers to get it.

If I became stupid rich tomorrow and shot the #1's in every North American game animal there was, that speedgoat would still be my most prized trophy.
