I had planned on just hunting ducks saturday morning but i really want to shoot a rooster. I have not killed more than 3 or 4 roosters in the last 5 years of hunting. I need to get one or 2. I know a few areas to hunt but dogs are a must. If you need a hunting partner and have a good spot, i will drive to wherever you want to go within 1 hour of Ogden. Let me know via pm if interested.[cool]

Don't need a buddy anymore. I went on a hunt in Corrinne today and shot 14 roosters including a mutant. I am good for let's see.............................9 years. Fun hunt, it is really sweet when everyone else can't hit anything.[sly][sly]

I actually was invited to a company party an old co-worker threw for his guys that work for him in his new business. I offered to help out with some money but he wouldn't take it. They had a sweet bbq afterward too! Not sure how much they charged him per bird but i would imagine around $12.

No need to wait till 8AM. Shooting now starts 1/2hr before sunrise....no misprint, just a new rule.

Sounds like a great time!!!
You bet me to the question. The only difference was that I was going to add I also need somewhere to go.
I can't remember the last wild rooster I shot. With all that has changed over the years, the one thing I have missed more than anything is the good old days of hunting pheasants.
AH, the memories. Thanks.
