Flyline- This fishing technique requires that you simply put a live bait on a hook and cast it out without a sinker or other terminal tackle. With the reel in 'free spool' you'll let the current take the swimming bait away from the boat and to within the midst of the fish. Feeling a hit, you'll put the reel in gear, gently take up any slack between you and the fish. Then, depending on the type of hook you have, set it! Often, just reeling steadly and quickly does the trick!
