Lost creek and East Canyon report

We made a road trip in search of good ice fishing, East canyon is close but not worth the risk, it is thin and not stable only time will tell if we all can be on it by next weekend, fished Echo (see report piggybacked on previous Echo report), andfished Lost Creek. it too is questionable ice. it is covered but you can telll where the thin ice is. we fished as long as we could there by the dam before we about froze solid. Lost creek fishing conditions has been tough all year for us, We have managed to catch some awesome quality, however the quanity is down. Lost creek has some remarkable cutthroat, and solid rainbows, but the ice conditions don't allow you to go anywhere but right at the dam. Visited with Officer Moser with the Fish and Game, i'm sure he'll update the dept's fishing website as well. If it stays cold Lost Creek will be much better by next week.
