myself and my buddy hit yuba this morning at 7ish. painted rocks ramp area, it was only -17 when we left the truck. started on the north side of the island at 17 foot. caught about 8 there. then we moved to the painted rocks in 20 to 25 foot of water and finished out our limits with some big fatties. it was so cold that my camera wouldn't work, so no pictures. bummer man. caught most of the perch on perch meat and some with salmon eggs. go figure. all in all it was a wonderful day on the ice. the ice by the island was a good 6 to 7 inches thick. i really didn't pay any attention to the sex of the perch. [cool]

Very nice. There are some little hawgs in there. They sure are tasty little beasts.
