What is "Fair Chase"
#1
Speaking for myself, fair chase is investing your own time to do the scouting, stalking and shooting. Rich guys hiring an entire team of scouts to locate and camp out on a bull is not my definition of fair chase. At 55 years old, I still do my own leg work and it paid off with my harvesting an elk this year. The day I can't do it on my own is the day I quit hunting. I really don't think much of anyone too lazy to do their own scouting. By hiring Moss & his ilk, Mr. Deep Pockets might as well just showed up at the elk ranch and shot his trophy over the hood of his Escalade. Sportsmen do it the hard way. The rich guy with a gun is doing himself an injustice by not living the entire experience. Mr. J.
