Piaute Ice

I'm heading down to Piaute on Tuesday does anyone have any recent information about the ice conditions after the latest storm and warm weather? Would Otter Creek be a better alternative? I'm really unfamiliar with the weather conditions in that region and any help would be appreciated.

I would be very careful at both piute and otter creek. The edges get really soft and you can break through easy with this weather we are having. Maybe by tuesday it will be safe but i would check on my way out.
