hyrum and causey

I was wondering if anyone has been up to to causey or hyrum lately. I was going to take my friend and his wife tomorrow but I dont want to take his wife somewhere that the ice is bad or has a lot of slush or water on it. This is only her second time so I want it to be good so that he can get her to go again. Any advise would be helpfull thanks
