drumking, chickamauga, Crappie and bass, 2/26/09, alone
#1
Made another crappie trip this morning. I caught 22 total crappie, but most were throwbacks. I released all fish today. I added 1 spot, 1 largemouth, and 1 bluegill to the total for the day. Water temp was 49.2 degrees and I caught the fish around docks on a 6 count. Ringer stingers and a crappie beaver was the lures of choice today fished on a 1/32 oz jighead.

I launched at Tyner Lane and ran the 7 miles to Sequoia area. I fished a dock up there for about 20-25 minutes and when I cranked up to run to the next dock, the boat motor started acting up again just like it has done for the past 2 years. So, the guys at Nichols didn't get the problem fixed with my boat. I pulled the cowling off and let it sit for 5 minutes to cool, and then the motor cranked up and ran like a new motor the rest of the day. I just left the cowling off until I put the boat on the trailer. I guess that I'll just have to fish this way until whatever is causing the problem finally breaks for good. I'm not taking it back to anyone to keep for 2 or 3 more weeks and can't ever find anything wrong with it. I need a mechanic to go fishing with me sometime and I'll show them the problem.

emoGeezer
