Took the boat to Cutler today for the first time and I will tell you now if you fish it in a bigger boat you must be very CAREFULL!! Out from the ramp untill you hit the channel its only 2.5-3'! We headed towards the dam and messed around with the remote troll I installed and it worked great! Only caught some yellow bellys today but it was nice to get the boat out. Lots of deer along the shore and some great weather!! Water temp was 49 when we loaded up at 2!!

they had drained alot of water out this winter so they could work on the damn. I had wondered if it was all filled up or not. It sounds like not.

I live just below the dam in Fielding and when I left this morning the river was flowing pretty high! The water over there was only 8" below full pool. Its just got so much silt and mud in it!!

Hey good on you for trying before the bugs take over the place. Did you get under the bridges oK, Im asuming you launched at Benson M. I wanted to try cutler out but on google earth the bridges look low. I think i will test some aluminum out on the ice at willard tomorrow. Dang that ice is tough. Anyway Cutler looks like its pretty muddy. Makes it hard to see those rocks and sandbars that can hang you up. I may have to sample that lake sometime.
