I know that we live in Utah but I try to get to the salt when I can, I haven't caught alot of saltwater species on the fly because most of my saltwater vacations are not fishing specific but I throw a line when I can. Here are a couple of mine (the Mackerel and small Cuda are from Florida, the Bonefish from Mexico).

Here's a few. I don't keep the camera too handy when fishing by myself, but you get the idea.
I catch the big tarpon on white streamers. I catch the baby tarpon during daylight hours on gurglers, toads, and other top water "flies." Cudas on long green streamers. Night tarpon and snook on shrimp patterns fished within a couple inches of the surface.
All of these were caught with an 8-weight, though that big one was an "accident" because I didn't have the 10-wt. rigged and ready when I saw him, and I HAD to toss the fly on the 8-wt. to him because he was just laying there asking to be caught. He ate it, and it was a long haul of nearly 30 minutes to get a grip on him.

Jim,
You're Cuda looks like mine[laugh], I knew you'd have some good pics. When you coming back to town? I was up in Kemmerer on Friday and it was 7 degrees[:/] but the fishing was pretty good for some nice Bows'. Remo

No, I was on the river at the top of the refuge. There was quite a midge hatch, in fact the spinners were covering the snow packed banks.
