There's lodging in both scipio 10 miles south of yuba on I15 and at nephi 25 miles to the north. Not much for food at scipio. Nephi has a couple of good cafes. My favorites is Lisa's on the south end of town.

I haven't been to Yuba since the tournament, but I am considering going tomorrow now the water has warmed a little.

Don't expect red hot fishing. The pike in Yuba are hard to come by and you'll have to work for them. If I go in the morning I'll post a report.

I would guess the average pike is 30+ inches with alot of fish 40+ caught last year. Redmond reservoir down the road has pike as well, but they average a lot smaller. Good luck to you.

I was there yesterday, mainly to do some tuning on the boat but I also fished as well. I caught...nothing. No Pike, no Perch, no Carp, etc. Trolled a variety of crank baits & cast a bunch of different hardware but no takers. First time I'd been there and not been able to catch some perch or carp soaking a worm, but they didn't want to play either. But, it was sunny for the most part and for once it wasn't snowing so it was a good day.
