E Fork Sevier
#1
My buddy's deploying to the Middle East in a few months and he's bound and determined to get his fishin fix in before he goes. One of the places he wants to hit is the East Fork of the Sevier. We're gonna do some camping while we fish so does anyone know of good areas to fish this river. I've been there once but it was years ago and we were hunting and not fishing.Basically no clue where to hit this river. Is it near Antimony ? We'll be mostly flyfishing but we'll also have our spinning rods with us also. Any help with a good spot to camp while fishing would be appreciated !

Not a lot of camping sites around, but you could stay at the Otter Creek State Park. Then, for fishing, just hit the DWR property in Kingston Canyon. This area will probably offer you what you are looking for. If the flows are up, you could try the DWR property in Black Canyon...but, my guess is that the spring flows will have this stretch a bit off-colored and high pretty soon.
