Had a blast fishin' the Sportsman's Dream Torney today. Great weather and everything went really well from blast off to our whole day of fishing. We just never could get a couple of kicker fish. Only had about 10 lbs out of 5 keepers. Caught a lot of short fish. Had our 5 keepers in the boat by 10:30. All of the keepers were in real shallow water and I believe they were all buck bass. A foot to less of water. All of our fish were caught on rattletraps, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics. All in all, it was wonderful weather, and a great day to spend on the lake. Just wish we could have got a couple of big fish. Maybe next time. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to Silverdale Baptist and Sportman's Warehouse for puttin' on a good tournament. It was just a tough day to get the big ones.
