We split today into 2 half day trips to beat the heat. In the morning we caught around 25 or so. 10 or so went from 15-20 lbs. Scott and I doubled on 20&#39;s with the light rods and it was quite fun. A bunch of them looked like twins today, lots of fat fish. No monsters. <br /><br />In the evening I brought around some live theadfins, and I guess Mdjpro already found what we were looking for with his big smallmouth. Doug lost 4 good fish, and we were finally having a little bad luck. I got crushed on a threadfin, just praying it was a striper. It turned out to be the big fish of the day, a 23 lb blue. Doug hooked a few 16 lb blues, and Michael got a few in the low teens. Scott topped out with a 18 lb drum on a live threadfin.<br /><br />Bass in the morning, hopefully we don&#39;t have to catch any of those annoying catfish,
