Me and CCSM had a great day!! emoThumbsup We caught about 30 bass so catching was a lot of fun. We started off with a bang, at 7:30 we had a limit in the boat of keepers and by eight we had culled one. emoTongue We continued to catch fish all day but the size went downhill from there. Chooch kicked my butt on size today so the "Legend" was his net man today. emoWorthy He boated six keepers and I only boated three. Our problem was not in catching fish, our problem was in catching quality fish. You cannot complain about putting 30 bass in the boat on any day but I do wish they had run slightly bigger. Cull as we did we could only gain about a lb from the first five. emoScratch Most of our fish came on a C-rig, second amount came on a shakey head, a couple off a T-worm and a couple off a spook. At days end we had five nice keepers but only good for 11.78 lbs to end up in eighth place. emoRolleyes

Could not get them to chase a blade or crank even though we tired for a while. Bite was very soft and sometime we did not even feel them. The rod would just load up and they were there. Water temp for the most part was in the upper sixties. Our fish came from two foot to about eight foot on ledges.

Great turn out and lots of fun seeing everyone. I thought it was typical of us when you set back and watch this morning. There was three tournaments signing up this morning, we were in the middle. The guys on the right were mostly quiet but did talk a little, the guys on the left were very serious and talked low and very quiet, but us in the middle...you would have thought it was a family reunion. emoToast Loud and talkative, hollering at each other like we had not seen each other in years, Big Grins and lots of bull being pushed around. emoLaugh You could sure tell the CFF bunch from the others. It was a greaat day. emoApplause

Congrats to the winners and expecially that 24.47(?) bag. emoWorthy emoWorthy I know it was about 24 and a half. I think that is a new record for a CFF weigh in. The 28 something a couple years ago was DQ'd because of being late so I think that is a new lead. emoApplause

Guys, you did a wonderful job of putting it on and thanks so much for all the hard work that went into making this one a success. emoThanks Jmax
