I had a good day yesterday shooting docks in 5’to 15’of water. On a couple of docks under the standing part, those pesky 9” fish would grab my jig seemingly before it actually hit the water, Apparently the grown up fish had sent the youngsters out to play while they stayed in the deepest reaches under the floating part of the dock, and the more challenging the opening and the greater the distance from the edge, the larger the fish. Every lure I tried worked as well as any other and I don’t remember catching a fish on a count greater than 4. The 4 fish in the foreground of the photo are; 13 7/8”, 14”, 14”, and 14 7/8”.
