Well I talked the wife into dropping the kids off with Nana and try to fish a couple hours. Put the boat in at about 6:15pm and headed up river towards the old mill dam. We didn't want to run to far because there were some nasty looking storm clouds heading our way. The spill way was pouring water and had the whole river looking like coffee with extra cream. I started fishing and my wife stretched out in the back to relax. I threw everything I had at them tonight. Buzzbaits, spooks, popers, spinnerbaits, traps, cranksbaits, and shakeyheads............Nothing!!! The river was up the bank probably a foot or so and a whole lot of debrie and logs floating everywhere. We fished down past the Hwy 11 bridge without a bite and pulled the boat out at 9p.m.. Hopefully I will have better luck Monday night for the B&B dogfight and have a better report. Everyone be safe running the river right now some of those sticks floating in the river today had trees dragging behind them!!
