Cutler Cats and Carp

I found a place out on Cutler on Monday that looked a bit like an inlet, but with no real running stream. Was seeing all kinds of carp in there, but couldn't get any of them to bite. I did however get a couple of nice cats to hook themselves up. Does anybody know if there's something up with the carp now and why they're not biting?

There spawn is going on right now...I don't think they are thinking about food.

Nice kitty kat!! FH could be right about the spawn. I was near that area Monday between noon and 6pm and did not get carp hits until the storm rolled thru around 3pm. The kitty's were biting all day however. I was dipping my nightcrawlers in garlic oil.GL
