Treasureton/Condie Report
#1
My brother and I fished Treasureton from 6 am to 2 pm and had about 6 strikes each. Both of us hooked a couple fish but I was only able to land one. All of the fish felt like very nice bows, the one I landed was 21 inches and about 4 pounds, it was a fatty. Sorry I didn't get any pics, I was in my pontoon. After about 12 pm it got slow, so we loaded up and went to Condie the rest of the afternoon, 2 to 6 pm. I threw worms, and lizards and hooked and landed 6 largemouth's the smallest was 14" and the biggest was 19", 5 of the bass were over 16". It was a pretty productive day. I'll be back out Saturday for sure. Again, sorry no pics this trip, maybe next time.

I think all it takes to out fish you is more beer.[Wink]

Nice report. Sounds like things are picking up a little there. I may have to make another trip down there some time.

What were you fishing at Treasureton ? As always early in the year- the chrominids out fish most everything else hands down.

I see, you buy your brother a six pack and out fish him every time[Wink]
What's in Treasureton I never fished it?? Hey I don't know if you guys are into Crapie but CJ is overloaded with them. F&G has been going around asking folks if they want to keep all their Crapie and taking live ones and transplanting them if people givem up. Great idea I say.

All mine were on a size 12 tan hare's ear, and I jiggled it fast and moved it really slow. RedBeard1 had better luck with the good old olive leech, really slow retrieve.
