Well me and the kid had seen enough of the house the last couple days so we decided to go fish deepcreek. On the way i thought the bass might be in the shallows at weston so we stopped for a hour. I was suprised that the res. wasnt full and I will be suprised if it does now. But the bass are still out pretty deep. Back in the small coves there were small bass in the shallows but no big onces yet. We fished for 45 minutes and caught 4 or 5 bass none over 8 inches, and fowl hooked a 5 inch perch. My little girl had enough about now so we headed to deepcreek and she could drink her sippy cup along the way. Met up with my grandpa there and we fished the far south side i only caught 1 planter, and my granpa landed about a 3 lb KOKANEE. I couldnt believe it. i think the last they planted them was around 04 so they must have some success spawning. Anyone else caught a kok recently? Tried to get a pic on my camera phone but cant tell its a kokanee.
