Wallace 18-1 and I are headed up to Newton tommorrow morning to try and find some tiger muskie. We have never been there before so any pointers would be apprieciated. We have had really good success on fluke baits and Pineview i was just wondering if any one has fished Newton in the past and what was working well. Also how is the bass fishing up there just in case we cant catch any Muske[fishin]

My father and I fished there the other day and did quite well with the tiger muskies. We started out targeting bass and ended up catching tigers. They were hitting on curly tails of any color and spinners. If you are fishing from a boat, just casting into the bank like you fish for bass. If fluke baits Worked on pineview then it also should work at newton.

gotta work on monday but next weekend i am going and we have a feel for what we need to do. Thanks for the invite though soon we will have to meet up and go get us some tiger's
