I was talking to my fellow deckhand that works on the same boat as me, and he was telling me all about this one yellowtail that was caught. he focused mostly on how it was caught.
there were two guys hooked up in the stern. everybody knew they were hooked up on yellows. what was weird is that their fish kept following each other. or so the people thought.
well, to make a long story short, when the fish was gaffed, it ended up having 2 jigs in its mouth. those 2 anglers who were hooked up on the yellows ended up having the same fish. we settled the problem by splitting the jackpot between the two and each person got one fillet.
