Headin to Island Park, what's good?
#1
I'm heading to Island Park for a week with my wife's family. [crazy] Anyone been there lately? What's good right now?

I would try the streams if you don't have a boat. The fish should still be biting at Henry's if you do have one though. They're probly just out deeper. As for the streams I've often done well on the outlet behind the Island Park Resort before it dumps into the Henry's fork. Also the stretch of the Henry's around coffee pot canyon has often been good to me.

I'm not much of a fly fisherman so I like the Panther Martins in holographic colors. 1/4 oz or bigger for Henry's, smaller sizes for the streams. Trout will be what's hitting. Also worms frequently produce. If you're wanting to use fly's I'm sure flygoddess or one of the others in here can point the way. You could always stop by BS flies at Ponds Lodge and they will have the most up to date information.
