Glendale

A buddy and I went down to Glendale Friday evening. He managed to put seven crappie in the boat while I sat five feet from him and got skunked! I never understand how that happens... Anyway, the fish were very tight lipped and we (he) had to work hard to find them, however, the ones we caught were very nice and fat.
We returned on Saturday and had the pleasure of sitting in the rain while the fish simply refused to bite. We finally called it a day after a couple of hours. The preston area has been good to me in the past but this weekend it taught me a lesson in humility and patience. [frown]

I think it's all the cold, wet weather. All the warm water species are getting pretty lethargic.
