Yesterday I was able to slip off to a strip mine for a afternoon chasing the bluegills.
Since I wanted to keep the population up for future trips with the family ,I released all.
I have a click counter in the tube for limit lakes and finally quite using it after 70.
The size was good but no huge ones.
For the first time in ages, I got off the water with DRY SOCKS. lol The G3 convertable waders are neat. The waist is plenty high enough that I didn't need to use the chest portion at all even with my 220 lb. bulk in the Fat Cat
Note--Sorry for the poor quality picture of the tail hooked gill. I just wanted to show off my new hooking method. They never swallow the hook that way. lol
What an enjoyable day on the water!!!! Illinoisgiller
