Flaming Gorge 06/26-06/27

Hit the Gorge for the first time and had a blast. Fished Sheep Creek Saturday and the Green on Sunday. Caught 30-40 Smallmouth most were dinks with two 13-15" and 10 trout biggest close to 2lbs. We camped up in the Deep Creek section and heard about a bear breaking a window trying to get into his camper. Made the wife a litte uneasy about tent camping in that area again.

Next time I go I plan on trying for macks and kokes, but for the first trip up there, I think we did okay.

really no snow in december? [] I bet you meant 6/26. We're headed up there tomorrow through sunday (well i am joining friday) hope we have as good of luck. Sucks that its suppose to storm every single day haha, just our luck. I wanna see a bear!! not in the camper tho, on the bank as we're going by in the boat lol. Thanks for the report!

Thanks, I have no idea why I posted the date like that. I am probably day dreaming of the week up at Onieda reservoir, I am about to embark on. I wanted to see a bear too! Seen lots of Antelope and some Deer that looked like they had a rough winter, it sure was beautiful. Hope you guys have a great time up there.
