Woke up early but heard some thunder, looked out and saw lightening so went back to bed. Got up around 6:30 and no storm so went on.

I fished from about 8:30 am until 2:00 pm today looking for some crappie. First couple docks were bare, nothing there. I tried several "bluff areas" and nutin, then went to some other docks which had about 12-14 fow and some shade and found 15, 10 being keepers. They were almost on the bottom and hit bg shad in blue/shad color along with some ole panfish assassins in shad/green, salt & pepper, shad/gold colors. Actually the color didn't seem to matter except I could not get them to hit white at all. Water temp was 82 to 83 degrees. I hope to post a picture of the ones that made the SKILLET. Also caught one large mouth and one smallie.
A great day to be on the water. emoHungry emoHungry emoDance
