Boulder vs. Fishlake N.F.

Im going to be in the town of junction at the end of this month and I was wondering where the best place to go would be for nice sized Brookies. Lake or stream would be great please any info would be Great thank you.

Of course if you are looking for nice brookies there is no place like boulder mountains. You can drive to Escalante and access many lakes or from Antimony you can drive over the Griffin Top and access North Creek Lakes on the boulder. That being said, you can catch some really nice bows at Piute and Otter Creek that are really close to Junction. Sounds like they are catching them from a boat trolling or just bait fishing.

We are wanting to fly fish out of a float tube or on some streams. Is there a spacific lake that we should try or streams?

I haven't fished the Beaver Mountains for awhile, but you may want to research them out. Here is what the the report said:

(Jul 9) All of the Beaver Mountain lakes are full or nearly full. Catchable-sized rainbow trout have been stocked in Little Reservoir, Kents Lake, Anderson Meadow and Labaron. Anglers report fair-to-good fishing and moderate-to-heavy fishing pressure, with most of the fishing pressure coming on weekends. Try PowerBait or worms, or, for faster fishing, use a dry fly on the surface in the late evening hours when the fish are rising.
