Monte Cristo area

Hey everyone... i am going to be doing some camping up in the Monte Cristo area in about a week and i am looking for some good places to go fishing.. fly fishing... or just spin casting from the bank or river. I have never been up there but hear there is Causey, Birch Creek, and Woodruff.. Does anyone have and suggestion at these places. I will have some people that never fish and would love to get them into a few slimmers.
