Perch catching size?

How big should a perch be before you can eat it? i realixe they're small fish, and was curious the eating-size limit. Thanks

Well for us it's 8"-9" and up . But you have to catch a mess for a decent Perch-nugget/fillet dinner.

We did very well on PV ice for 10" plus jumbo Perch. I'm think'n you may have to get into a little deeper water off the shore line to get into bigger ones. But then again where there's lil ones the bigger ones are also around and in my readings usually on the bottom or a few inches off it with the little ones up higher. Just my .02. [] []

TMs follow the bait fish so they'll be close and I've seen some in 2' of water look'n for a meal. But as the water temp goes up during the day they'll go deeper along with the larger bait fish (Crappie/Perch/Sunfish).

Also I've heard the Sunfish fishing at PV is real good now also.
