We went our for a few hours this afternoon. Put in at Soddy and headed straight for the brush piles I found last week. Spotted it on the graph and tossed a worm in just past it- WHAM!! First cast emoBang It was hit with a fury as soon as it hit the water. Was not to happy about it being my first cast. It was probably around a 3 lbr. Got it to the boat and told Jennifer "get the camera out" instead of "get the net" emoDoh Of course as soon as I had the hook out, it flopped out of my hand and into the water. emoDoh Moved from there out to the main channel to try and fish ledges and humps on TR Lizard and Jig/ Craw. Saw fish everywhere and had a ton of bites, just no good hook ups. Headed home around 7. Fished water mostly 15 -30 ft. Tmp was 84- 85. There was a noticeable current for the first time in months that I've been out. Hoefully can get out again later this week, my try with some smaller lizards.
