Rotten little squirrels

[#500000]I heard this unbelievable story of squirrels marching over the banks of Birch Creek and rotting along the banks, causing a horrible stench......They were telling me it was similar to the lemmings march......Has anyone heard this one?.......If it's not a complete fabrication, I could have a lot of crow to eat.[/#500000]

I'm not sure about squirrels marching into Birch Creek, but the the last time I was there, there must of been about 50 dead bloated squirrels floating around the shore!!!

I saw this once when i was a little kid, we were fishing from shore, i dont know where. the pot guts were running down the bank into the water and swimming for there lives outward. We would catch them with our lures and bring them back and they would just go right back out there. Then i learned in school that little critters will do mass suicide when they become over populated, I dont know if this is what it is, It all sounds weird if you ask me. Kind of crazy that little critters will go against everything instict a wild animal has (instinct to live). And start killing themselves off in an attempt to prevent further suffering. Crazy.
