Forgive me--I'm new at this board....
I seem to get a lot of "this board is not available" messages. Is this a common problem? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Just got this on the FlyFishing General. And that will be my most common forum. I get it on pretty much anything, including Freshwater Fishing General and Fly Fishing Gear and Equipment:
We Have Good News and Bad News...
[ul][li][.img]"]http://www.predatorialadvertising.com/i.gif[/img] The bad news is this page has been moved or is unavailable.
The BigFishTackle.Com page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. However, we do have good news!

Trouble Maker ! Just kidding. I hope your little problem
will be fix soon.

[#008000]Hi rockroller - Generally when one gets a message stating that the post had been moved or is not available would due to it being removed as it contained spam, porn or another type of objectionable material. However, I don't recall the recent removal of any post. Are you getting this message while surfing older posts? Are you responding form an e-mail notification of a new post? [/#008000]

No, I'm getting it when I click on any of the general forums. I'm not targeting a particular post. After I log in, I click on, for example, the general fly fishing forum, and then get the message simply in trying to access the forum and see the list of posts.

peter..Id agree with you on that except the problem is intermitent.. ususally.. but not always.. if the problem were with his pc then it would likely be that he would not be able to get on to any of the forums (usually a security setting problem).. since it is intermittent the odds are it is a glitch in his account on the BFT server..
that is why DR pushed the concern up to the admins of the site.. they would be able to easily determine if its his account here or not..

Oh yeah, intermittent for sure. On my old PC it was
ALWAYS intermittent. Sometimes working, sometimes
not so much. And that is what was driving me crazy.

thats usually a server issue and not a pc issue.. but not always.. hopefully the admins can check it quickly and figure out what is going on and feed back to us..

For the first several days with three different computers (one cable (from home), one network (at work), and one DSL (at a friend's house)), I encountered mutiple problems .
Yesterday, not a one. And today, well, so far so good. [cool] Thanks for your follow-up.
