It took almost 2 years, but Billy and I finally got together for a short crappie trip. We could have picked a better day. Wind out of the north, cold front conditions, but we still did ok. We caught 34 with 17 being keepers for Billy's freezer. Also added about 4 or 5 spotted bass and 1 big goggle eye. BG shads were the best lure today. Fish were caught under a school of baitfish. Millions of bait fish on the surface and the fish about 6 to 10 seconds deep.<br /><br />I caught all the little ones and got them out of Billy's way and he landed the good fish. We had a lot of fun. We had some dead fishing time too, but the bite picked up just before 11:00 and lasted about 20 minutes. We quit at 12:00. Billy had an appointment and I have to take mom to get her eyes tested this afternoon. Enjoy the pics. emoBig emoGeezer <br /><br />Billy, we will do this again when ever we can.
