glockjr and i put in around 7am at grasshopper creek hoping that the cool front hadnt locked the crappie down.

well it did emoBang

tried a few places we hadnt fished before up from grasshopper. a couple of docks in a creek with about 10 fow to start
the day. we did manage a few from those including another 12-1/2 hall of famer for william emoThumbsup emoBigSmile but it was very slow. went on to hit a dock and some vertical structure thats ALLWAYS good to us but
not this day emoBang

went down towards eldridge and hit a few docks with nothing to show and even went in to eldridge and managed 1 13+ from a brush pile in there.

headed over to possum creek to check that out and we got a few more from some vertical structure in there
to make the count 15 total with 9 good keepers 11-13" . tried all kinds of colors and such but the only thing we caught
fish on was BG shads that were black/chart or blue/chart. most of the fish that were caught seemed to be suspended in the middle of the depth range. in 10fow they were 5 in 25-30 fow they were 15. i did mark a nice school of em round 10ft deep at the possum creek bridge but they didnt want anything we threw at them.

tossed the 9 we had in the livewell back in to fight another day and pulled the boat out around 2pm

even without the great catching we had been getting used to it was still a great day to be out on the water with
my oldest boy emoAngler

water temps ranged from 75-79 today

ill get the pics posted as soon as i can
