My granddaughter, Gabrielle, went fishing with me this PM for a short bass fishing trip. We had a great time. I landed 4 bass, had 2 more jump off at long distance and the highlight of the trip was a 13 lb 3 oz flathead catfish that took us around and around the boat for some 5-10 minutes. Gabrielle netted this fish just like a pro. It was fooled by a 3" fluke with a tail light and on a 1/16 oz jig. I was lucky in that I was using my reel that has 6 lb test on it and I had just re-tied before the big fish hit. We are going to eat that critter in the very near future. emoBig
