[font "Arial"][size 3]Willow Beach anglers reported some success for stripers that ranged from three to six pounds. The fish were taken with anchovies. Boaters fishing coves were successful landing rainbow trout that averaged 3 ½ pounds.[/size][/font]
[font "Arial"][size 3]Sally Brooms from Searchlight Boat and RV storage reports that a California couple caught fifty stripers within five hours that averaged 2 ½ pounds. [/size][/font]
[font "Arial"][size 3]The fish were caught in the narrows on both sides of the river using anchovies as bait. One lucky angler caught a striper that weighed in at 44 pounds.
