]Well, The kiddos and I took your advice and headed up to Tibble and Silver, and wow!! was it worth it!! If you have kids and are looking for some fast trout fishing-- head up there.
It was just stocked with 1001-- 10" Trout according to the DWR Site.
The colors are amazing!! Even the kiddos in their fast paced world were struck by the beauty of this awesome state!!
We caught around 30 trout at Tibble ( sorry no pics) All were caught on salmon eggs 3 feet under a bobber on the dam side. All of them were released for others to catch. Nothing over 13".
No fish caught in Silver (The lake is way low) We found A TON of tackle just by walking up and down the dam. The kids had lots of fun following old lines and seeing what was at the end. We now have a years supply of weights and swivles...Hooks were too rusted. The pics are mainly of the Mountains. I will take more Fish pics next time.
