Tibble Fork report 10/6
#1
Beautiful, but cold, up at Tibble Fork this morning. Got there at 9 am but didn't get a line in the water until 9:45 thanks to some problems with my reel. Anyway, got started and immediately caught a nice 12" rainbow w/ a worm and bobber....then I got skunked for about 3 hrs. I tried all kinds of different baits and got nothing. I was about ready to leave when I decided to break out my silver blue fox #2. All of a sudden...wham, wham, wham, 3 big beautiful bows in less than 30 minutes. The biggest was 14" and fat which is a nice size for Tibble. It only took me 5 hours, but I got my limit and I will be having a delicious fish fry tonight. And I think I have a new favorite lure....Blue fox was a champ for me.

[Smile]Cool Post!! Glad to hear it is still ok up there. We will be up there again this friday. I will try the old faithful Blue #2 next time. They love the salmon eggs when they are feeding its hard to keep them off the line. C ya around-- Shawn M.
