7lb Strawberry

We were heading in from a day of great fishing and trolling back to Strawberry Bay Marina we caught this one in the bay.
26" 7 lbs.
Throughout the day 4 of us caught @30 fish between 16"-26". We released all but this big guy. We grilled him up that night and had a great meal!

Very nice cutt... I took a buddy of mine out to Strawberry for his first time this morning. It wasvery cold and windy,but fishing was decent. He caught his biggest trout to date (a little over 21 inches.) I managedto pull in a nice fat 22 1/2 incher, but was nothing like your monster there. Good Job

Great fish. Were you trolling all day or did you jig at all? What where they hitting on?

We trolled most of the time, but did stop to jig a little. Most of our action was trolling.
We were dragging 1/4 ounce white tube jigs tipped with sucker meat.
