Has anyone been up to BC lately... or woodruff? Going to float one or the other on Friday and would love some info.

My friends fished Woodruff Cr. Reservoir this week Monday and did very well for cutthroat up to 18". Most averaged 14-16". You need to try for the mountain whitefish that live in Woodruff Cr. Reservoir. They are some of the largest I've ever seen and hardly anyone fishes for them. Let us know how you do.

Thanks for the info.
I'll be fly fishing with sinking line using wolly buggers and leaches. I usually do very well catching the trout but I've never caught whitefish out of that water what should I use?

I wasn't aware that there are whitefish in Woody. In all the years I've fished it I have never seen one. I thought it was all cutts. I too would like to know how to target them.

The DWR site says there in there as well. I fished it Friday morning and slayed the cuts buy no sign of whitey.
